ABOUT THIS LESSON
About This Beginner Pokémon ESL Lesson
Pokémon began with a simple idea: catch small monsters, train them and collect them all. Thirty years later, the same characters appear across games, cards, television, movies and toys.
This A1–A2 lesson uses accessible English to explore collecting, trading, childhood memories and the reasons games and characters can stay popular across generations.
Students build a launch plan for a new character with a limited budget, decide which ideas work best together, and then advise an older game franchise on how to attract a new generation.
