ABOUT THIS LESSON
About This Life Skills ESL Lesson
Students learn mathematics, literature and science at school, but they may leave without knowing how taxes or credit cards work. Should schools teach more everyday skills?
This A1–A2 lesson helps beginner learners talk about school subjects, useful skills and what students need for adult life. It also explains why adding new subjects means removing time from existing ones.
Students read and listen to an original article, practice vocabulary and comprehension, redesign the school week, defend a subject and write a short opinion.
